Founded by Kyle H. McCollum, AIA in May of 2015, McCollum Studio Architects is a residential and commercial architecture firm whose mission of creation is born of great attention and creativity to the challenges of a site and/or built context. Functional sanctuary, repose, and sensitivity to even the smallest esoteric elements on a site can inspire and serve as the datum by which we operate and tailor our thought processes. Our philosophy towards design, detail, site, communication, and chemistry with our clients and the rest of the team are hallmarks of our approach. With extensive residential framing & carpentry experience, and educated at the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, Kyle has brought his honesty, integrity, humor, experience, and common sense to an accelerating Texas real estate market. We believe that the value that an architect brings to your property is unparalleled and seminal to the value and day to day experience in your project. We feel that each project, no matter the size or budget, warrants our most steadfast dedication and creativity. Each project and program brings unique problems, site challenges, and budgets, so every solution is attentive and sensitive to all of the factors that can inspire and influence design.
