3x5x7: Architectural Model Making

DECEMBER 12-16, 2019

This week-long exhibition and event series explored and celebrated the architectural model and the craft of model making, and featured a collection of models crafted by Austin’s architecture and design community. 3x5x7 models were available through silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the grants and programs of the Austin Foundation for Architecture.* These works were displayed alongside a selection of models created by local architects and architecture firms for a range of projects—from art installations and research to urban planning—revealing the vast range of their makers’ business, research, and creative practices.
