ACCESS SERIES:
In 2019, Women in Architecture hosted a series of roundtable dinners spread over the course of the year focused on sharing expert knowledge to increase the success of women and minority applicants pursuing professional recognition. Carefully curated speakers will deliver relevant information in an intimate, 30-40 attendee dinner setting. Attendees will gain insights into communicating authorship while also connecting with a diverse network of other women within the profession. Stay tuned for additional dates!

From February 8 - March 2, 2017, AIA Austin was proud to present the Women in Architecture Shape the Conversation Exhibits and Events Series to recognize the far-reaching achievements of women architects in Texas and beyond. These inaugural exhibits and events laid the foundation for future programming in an effort to Continue the Conversation.
February 8, 2017: Opening of 'Women in Architecture: National Outlook, Local Stories' and opening dialog, 'Architecture: Pedagogy and Practice', with Amale Andraos at the UTSOA Exhibit, 5:00PM
February 10, 2017: Opening of 'Women in Architecture: 1850 to the Future' and 'Women in Architecture: Shaping Austin' at 249 W 2nd St, and opening party featuring the Sarah Sharp Trio and guest speaker Wendy Davis.
