David Negrete has practiced architecture in South and Central Texas for over 30 years.  Early experiences in construction management provided him with a unique insight into project development, scheduling and budgeting.  Throughout his architectural career, David Negrete has gained an extensive knowledge of building construction, historic preservation, and innovative regional design, with a special interest in adaptive re-use, civic design, and improving communities.

As lead designer for much of the firm's work, David Negrete concentrates on projects that demonstrate social consciousness and responds to community needs with time-tested, integrated and durable building methods applied to regionally and environmentally sensitive designs in South and Central Texas.  This holistic approach to project delivery has resulted in an exceptional record of successful projects.  He is a dedicated advocate and mentor to young designers and interns in the firm's employment by providing challenging opportunities and exposure to all aspects of project design, management, and delivery.
