antenoraarchitects llp was founded on the belief that the practice of architecture should be responsive rather than dogmatic.   A well conceived building is one that is responsive to the needs of the people who occupy it. It is mindful of the forces of nature, environment and site; it is architecturally respectful to its community and context, and can be built within reasonable and predictable budget and schedule expectations.   Antenora Architect's designs evolve from an appreciation of history, an understanding of many architectural "styles," an ongoing incorporation of new technologies and best practices, yet, with an eclectic sense of the timeless in design.

Since their start in 1997, the firm has been consistently recognized by the regional architectural, design, construction and business communities for excellence in design, construction and business integrity; and for their contributions to the community. In particular, the firm’s Penn Field project was recognized for green and sustainable design as a tour site for the 2007 American Institute of Architect’s National Convention.

The work of Antenora Architects LLP has also been featured in print in magazines such as Texas Architect, Home, Fine Homebuilding, Remodeling, Environmental Design + Construction,  Eco-Structure, as well as in the recent book Luxury Home of Texas.

Principal/Founder Michael Antenora and his work have been profiled in broadcasts for National Public Radio, Texas Public Radio and Public Television.
