Jaime Alvarez

Jaime Alvarez is a project manager at Lord Aeck Sargent as well as a registered architect in the states of Texas and New York. He came to the United States as an immigrant from Mexico and received a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Houston. His most recent projects include renovations to the Passive House standard of 1890’s tenement buildings in New York City’s Lower East Side and the historic restoration and renovation of the Travis County Probate Courts, a 1935 federal court listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Jaime’s work seeks to blend preservation and sustainability by practicing in the most sustainable manner; re-using our existing structures.
